That’s not the only thing the large group had in common: the participants all turned out to have a weakness for speed and beauty. Saturday morning they gathered in the early morning sun for a hearty bowl from the barista plus a brownie served by Prince. After all, a good ride requires a lot of fuel….
Then the party could really begin: we started the tour along the Veluwemeer, followed by a ride to Zwolle via the meandering dikes of the IJssel. The road to Hellendoorn took us past Hasselt and Dalfsen. We also took part of the Salland route; a must for driving enthusiasts.
After all that hard work in the cockpit, a well-deserved “Live Cooking” lunch was on the menu at Landgoed de Uitkijk. In any case, it was a feast all afternoon thanks to a wonderful ride under the autumn sun on beautiful roads. The Salandse Heuvelrug and of course the Veluwe, home ground for Prins, produced nothing but happy faces. Once back in Nunspeet we toasted another Prince in the Mix Tour from the book at the end.
