The Delta’s successes were not only celebrated in motorsport; the limited farewell edition, named Edizione Finale SS, is a joy to behold… and to drive! Before a loyal Prins customer brought this car from its birthplace in Italy, the Delta belonged to an enthusiast who had purchased multiple Lancias from the first Italian owner. After his acquisition, he registered the hatchback in the ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) registry. Exterior
Wide fender flares, air intakes, a retractable roof spoiler, grille with red trim, and, of course, the multi-spoke lightweight rally wheels are characteristic of every Delta EVO model. The Edizione Finale is also known for its striping, although in this case, it has a slightly different style. Our "SS" is finished in the beloved Blue Lagos paint, paired with yellow stripes running along the sides of the entire car. No matter how aggressive the Evoluzione body kit is, there’s something about this Lancia that wins over true connoisseurs. A power output of 215 hp may not be extraordinary by today’s hot hatch standards, but the explosive character of the 2.0-liter 16V turbo engine from the EVO II certainly is. What a rocket! Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 5.7 seconds, and the top speed reaches 220 km/h. Both axles are powered for maximum grip in all conditions. And with an impressive 315 Nm of torque, the push in your back is noticeable in every one of the 5 gears. After nearly 30 years, the turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is still as responsive as ever.
