History
In 1989 Germany put a brand new Italian on the public roads. After 9 years, the Testarossa came on the Dutch radar, and stayed there ever since. Your predecessor took the legend outside only occasionally for the past few years and possessed the beauty for a quarter of a century. However, the maintenance has never been spared: history tells us that the specialists of Forza really knew how to retain the technique in perfect condition. Of course we would like to see the Ferrari Testarossa staying close to home in the near future, but the reality is that there are plenty of collectors around the world ready to make their dream car come true.

Exterior
The Ferrari Testarossa may be the most iconic car Maranello has ever built. Looking at the unique reputation of the Italian sports car manufacturer, this is extra special. Of course we would like to imitate a famous Miami Vice scene. Nevertheless is the design the main reason many enthusiasts have a ‘thing’ for the magical V12 machine. The wide rear, the air-intake aerodynamics in the doors, the double round pop-up headlights and of course the black slats on the rear light units; there’s nothing like the Testarossa. Even the front spoiler and sills are 100% Rosso Corsa, making the red magic around the Ferrari more powerful than it has been ever before. Sure, a white car may excel on the white screen. But in real life a Testarossa should ‘just’ be as red as possible. Exactly as the name suggests.

Interior
As beautiful and intense as the fiery exterior looks, that sleek and restrained is the Nero leather interior. We could softly touch an eye-catching classic like the Ferrari Testarossa all day long. But the condition is even too splendid for that! It’s quite unique how gorgeous the Italian looks after 34 years. The wide center console, traditional gear patten and of course the minimalistic 3-spoke steering wheel are ingredients to get the real time machine feel, without driving a single meter.

Technique & performance
No duo has stood next to each other more than the Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach. We have to admit: both naturally aspirated V12 engines sound like music to our ears. However, still they are two completely different cars. The Testarossa is much more forgiving and has comfortable GT influences, in line with the younger 550 Maranello. But the mid-engine configuration makes the Testarossa a lot more eccentric, both in terms of design and driving experience. The 180-degree “flat-12” power source is as flat as a pancake and guarantees enormous peaks in driving pleasure. Especially in combination with the exciting 40/60 weight distribution, it’s tough to stop playing.
