Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 Rosso Alfa

Miracles do happen: this stunning beautiful Alfa Romeo Spider Type 4 with powerful 2.0 liter engine and electronic injection system (IE) has the perfect color scheme and history. The Alfa Spider was originally delivered in the Netherlands, has been properly maintained and is technically in good shape. The pure red Rosso Alfa bodywork has never been repainted and the Romeo among the classic roadsters has had only 2 owners in 32 years. Absolutely unique! History
The Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 Type 4 is the final evolution of a 60s icon. Nowadays we can’t imagine a design lasting that long. But the Italians were able to, as they often do. Pininfarina is the brain behind the characteristic shape; a name that needs no further explanation. The addition “Type 4” says it all: this is the 4th (and last) series based on the original 1966 Alfa Spider. The adjustments ensured a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern sportiness. Specifically for the 90s facelift the engineers developed an electronic fuel injection system. So the first owner had all the right to fall in love with this 1991 Spider, followed by the second and last (Dutch) owner.

Exterior
Red is the color of passion and love. No wonder Rosso Alfa is a highly appreciated paint on a pure driver’s car like the 1st generation Alfa Romeo Spider. Unique is the fact that the lacquer on this car is still completely original. In short, it doesn’t get any more pure than this! Type 4 distinguishes itself from previous series with restyled bumpers in exterior color, to make the fiery red Alfa look just that little bit more intense. The rear light units also have a more solid, clean appearance and are connected to each other for a change. However, above all the Spider still has the same classy and charming vibe. Exactly the way you want it.

Interior
Inside there’s another reason for Alfisti to rush to Prins: the Beige leather upholstery is like the ultimate dream combination with Rosso Alfa. The black dashboard, instruments, window winders, carpets, vents and other controls are all fully intact. The wooden Nardi steering wheel is praised by many, but for those who long for 100% originality: the black leather, factory equipped steering wheel is also included. Technique
A maintenance history by the book results in a rear-wheel drive roadster that brakes, steers, shifts and accelerates as it should. Of course, the authentic Alfa feeling is guaranteed. Furthermore, the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder with multipoint injection is incredibly smooth and can’t wait to push all 126 horses backwards via a manual 5-speed gearbox.
