History
The older the Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior gets, the more desirable it becomes. This specific one was delivered new in the country where it was built. It means that the GT 1300 has been driven with at least as much passion as it has been shaped. The original purchase receipt and 1st registration are included. The same goes for the original license plate + photos made at the time the Alfa GT 1300 Junior drove around with classic black Italian plates. Ferrari dealer Kroymans replaced them for Dutch plates after the 2nd owner came forward. In the meantime, one more owner has been added via Prins, a genuine Alfa Romeo enthusiast. Who’s next?!

Exterior
The looks of the Bertone designed Alfa Romeo GT are at least as original: the 1st series is known and praised for its subtle opening between the front bumper and bonnet a.k.a. “step front” ore “scalino” in Italian. Other characteristics are the large round headlights, compact proportions, shiny chrome bumpers and elegant coupe contours. The Grigio Chiaro Metallizzato lacquer makes it even a more timeless Alfa classic. Taking a closer look at the light grey bodywork reminds you that it’s gorgeous, but not new. However, what can you expect from a 52 year old beauty?

Interior
Looking at (the condition of) the interior is a least as fun: black leather dominates in the nostalgic Alfa Romeo cockpit. The wooden dashboard finish and the ultra-thin 2-spoke steering wheel are as charming as a classic GT could be. Highlights are the old school switches and big round analog gauges and meters. Subtle chrome finishes emphasize classy Alfa style. Furthermore, the interior is completely intact and the leather upholstery is almost immaculate. Wonderful, what a time machine!

Technique
As the name of the Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior suggests, the heart of the car has a total capacity of (almost) 1,300 cc. The 1,29 liter 4-cylinder engine with Twin Cam technology has 2 valves per cylinder and an output of 90 hp; more than enough to impress, certainly when the rear-wheel drive character comes around the corner. The GT badge says it all: this sporty coupe makes driving fun, every single day. In addition, the technique is very solid as well. So get ready for many years of pure driving pleasure, the classic Alfa way.
