The modern Ferrari styling showcases its most elegant side in the case of this classically composed Portofino. We traded in the coupe-convertible for a brand-new Portofino M, just to emphasize that its (German) predecessor was a true enthusiast. After 4 years of driving, the number of owners has remained at just one. The honor is now yours to change that soon. Our confidence in this is also due to the luxurious setup of this jet-black showpiece: fully electrically adjustable seats with a memory function and super chic Sabbia leather, a Surround View Camera, JBL audio system, and Magneride Dual Mode Suspension make it very tempting to unleash the 600 hp Ferrari twin-turbo V8 on the asphalt. Preferably with the top down, of course…
Exterior:
As the successor to the California, the Italians had to work hard to make the Portofino just as stylish. The example on your screen, cast in Nero Daytona, proves that they succeeded in creating an exceptionally charming Ferrari. The "Chrome Edged Front Grille" adds extra gloss to the smooth lines. Literally. Yet, the coupe-cabriolet doesn’t hide its exciting performance. Take note of the 20-inch Forged Diamond wheels with brightly colored Giallo brake calipers behind them. They correspond with the Scuderia Ferrari Shields on the front fenders, creating an almost magical contrast. Black and yellow apparently go very well together. Also pleasing to the eyes are the low roofline and massive diffuser at the rear, with 2 exhaust tips on each corner. Each design element tells its own story about the aerodynamics of the Ferrari Portofino: the model cuts through the air as easily as it sticks to the asphalt.
Interior:
The interior composition is a pleasant surprise: light Sabbia leather upholstery plays a prominent role, interspersed with contrasting Nero leather elements on, for example, the steering wheel and the upper part of the dashboard. The headliner is also dark in color. The Charcoal stitching and Cavallino logos in the headrests also beautifully contrast with the beige interior. No frills in the super tasteful Ferrari cockpit. And that suits this Portofino…. Very much of this time are, of course, the large infotainment screen combined with a digital instrument cluster. However, we honestly find the analog rev counter quite refreshing. Some things are just good as they always were…
Options & Extras:
The best way to keep a close eye on the RPM is to sit in fully electrically adjustable seats. The Ferrari Portofino sits exceptionally well. However, everyone has their own preference for a seating position. There’s a good chance you won’t want to let go of the steering wheel afterward, but just in case, Maranello installed a memory function. If you want to give others a unique driving experience… The Surround View Camera aims to prevent you from regretting ever handing over your seat; the system provides maximum visibility all around, minimizing potential parking damages. Of even greater value is the Magneride Dual Mode Suspension: the adaptive damping always finds the perfect balance between comfort and sportiness. The presence of a JBL audio system is undoubtedly a plus, although the best part about the sound system is that the V8 in the background plays a delightful tune. Unless…
Technology & Performance:
Unless you decide to let the twin-turbocharged 8-cylinder take center stage. All you have to do is complete a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.5 seconds. Pressing the accelerator at speed will do as well. And even when stationary, the 3.9-liter Ferrari V8 will blow you and onlookers away. With 600 hp and 760 Nm of torque, the rear-wheel-drive Portofino effortlessly aims for a top speed of 320 km/h. It’s a joy to race swiftly through the 7 automatic gears. Experience for yourself what the advanced Magneride suspension is capable of and get an even bigger smile on your face. Top down and go; this is what driving is all about!
Best regards,
