History
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is an icon. Period. Even more desirable is this 1300 Ti version. You know, the one with the more thrilling 4-cylinder engine from the Alfa GT 1300 Junior Coupe. A 5-speed manual transmission and 4 brake discs are also included in the special deal. A few years ago, the Alfa Giulia Ti was fully restored, at the special request of the 2nd and 1st Dutch owner. Once arrived at Prins, the characteristic Berlina got a next level treatment. So we hope the original Italian delivered beauty never have to leave Holland again…
Interior & exterior
How rare could a Giulia be? Very. Our 1300 Turismo Internazionale in Verde Muschio Chiaro is more chic than a night at an open air opera theater in Rome. The angular 4-door has clearly left its mark on the rich Alfa past. Despite – or perhaps because of – its traditional configuration, this Romeo is dangerously tasty. And then it seems to be an aerodynamic miracle too. How clever for a sporty family car…
The brown leather interior is the last ingredient the real fan was looking for. The rest of the classic cockpit is perfectly in shape as well, including the black 3-spoke steering wheel, wooden finish and minimalistic designed dashboard based on the Giulia Super. The original 2 large round instruments and separate fuel gauge remained untouched. Lucky you.
Technique & performance
The Giulia 1300 Ti has a different induction system and other camshaft timing compared to the non-Ti version. In other words: it’s faster. The 1,290 cc 4-cylinder produces 82 hp and comes from the former 105 series instead of the downgraded 101 series. All together a top speed of 190 km/h is certainly achievable. So enough talking. Time to drive!
