It’s perfectly maintained through the years by official Ferrari Dealers in Holland only, making the original Dutch delivered Italian even more exciting. So the question isn’t if you fall in love with it, but when. Ready or not, this stunning 575M Maranello is the kind of magic you’ll never forget.
The Ferrari 575M is an evolution of the 550 Maranello. The “M” stands for Modificato. What modifications are we talking about? For example, a new layout of the headlights behind the glass, a restyled front bumper – including narrower grille without the fog lamps, another front spoiler and a different rim design. However, the shape of the car remained intact. Including the classic configuration (engine in front, rear wheel drive), characteristic air inlet in the hood and aerodynamics behind the front wheels. In black, the elegant and timeless bodywork of the Ferrari 575M Maranello is even more beautiful. A very luxurious supercar however, referring to the leather finished dashboard of the 575M Maranello with its stunning layout, clearer than the 550. Also, the steering wheel is much more minimalistic and the instruments are still analog, but less classic than the original Maranello had. It’s all part of the transition from 550 to 599 GTB Fiorano. Options & extras
Very comfortable is the way you can adjust the seats in the right position, thanks to the electronics in the 575M. It even has a memory function, just in case you have a weak moment by giving the wheel out of hands for only a second. The Becker radio indicates the originality of the Dutch delivered Italian. Exactly how it should be, because you don’t want to mess with this kind of beauty. Keep it perfect, that’s our personal advice.
Technique & performance
The Ferrari 575M only needed 0.25 liters of extra engine capacity to get 29 hp more out of the non-turbo 12-cylinder, compared to the 550 Maranello. The natural aspired Ferrari V12 has plenty of power, but mainly excels in sensation. The sound of the gem in front is undamped and therefore absolutely unique. Goosebumps all over the place when the 575M Maranello reaches 100 km/h from standstill in 4.3 seconds! The semi-automatic F1 transmission blasts through its gears with the same dedication as a starving horse starting to eat from its favorite meal. But you need 515 horses in total to reach 325 km/h…
