History
The 1954 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint (Type 101) set the basis for the 105/115 series Giulia Sprint. The 2 models look very much the same. It may not be a surprise however, since famous designer Bertone is responsible for both of the beauties. So the Giulia Sprint basically is a rebadged Giulietta Sprint. Underneath, the changes are bigger. Literally: the 1300 was exchanged for a 1600 engine. It gives this Giulia Sprint the smooth driving character that matches its stunning appearance. At last.

Exterior
An Italian masterpiece like this should win every contest. But the truth is our Alfa Giulia isn’t concours ready. The coupe is simply too characteristic and pure for that. Take it as a compliment: this 1600 is a true winner when it comes to design. The glamorous curves, fine proportions and elegant details make it the unsurpassed charmer for which the Sprint is known. Cast in a Bianco Gardenia outfit, the Alfa Romeo seems to be made for the most beautiful day of your life. It doesn’t have to be just one, you know… White is the original color of this Alfa, by the way, making it even more desirable. The body itself is very solid and the chrome work truly outstanding. Interior
The interior of the Alfa Giulia 1600 is also gorgeous and fully original. The white seat upholstery and dashboard finish correspond beautifully with the exterior, while the dark blue trims and panels contrast brilliantly with the light color scheme. The same goes for the ultra-thin black steering wheel, fitted with 3 aluminum spokes and – in terms of size – three identical instruments behind them, having all chrome frames. Very classy. Technique
Under the bonnet lies a perfectly maintained 1.6 liter 4-cylinder in-line engine. Not the strongest power source ever made, but it will amaze you when it comes to speed and pure driving pleasure. The Giulietta Sprint 1600 sounds, pulls and even smells good. Moreover, with 91 hp, it’s considerably stronger than its predecessor: the Giulietta Sprint 1300. The 2+2 Giulia has sporty DNA and provide the biggest smiles. Push the manual gearbox into 1st gear and your eyes will start twinkling faster than you can blink.
